Art for Animals' Sake raises money and awareness for northwest rescue organization N.O.A.H. and Old Dog Haven!
On Augsut 14th, Art for Animals' Sake, an organization founded by David in collaboration with Best Friend Pet Photography by Emily and Scraps Dog Bakery, raised over $7,000 with the help of over fiflty donating northwest artists.Several hundred people enjoyed the artwork and celebrated in downtown Seattle.
Most recently, with the partnership of Deluxe Hair Salon, Art for Animals' Sake raised $1,400 in donations through Holiday Pet Portraits for Old Dog Haven.
Our mission is to help raise the media profile of animal welfare organizations and animal protection issues that positvely affect the quality of life for animals.

About David:
I am a fine art painter, photographer and an ardent supporter of animal welfare. As the proud dad of two adopted shelter dogs, I am dedicated to raising the visibility of animal population control issues and encouraging shelter adoptions.
Since graduating from Pratt Institute (New York) with a Bachelors of Fine Art (1991), I have been a scenic painter, designer and a successful photojournalist with many international organizations as clients. More recently, I earned a Masters of Communications in Digital Media from the University of Washington.
I am also founder of Art for Animals Sake (see side bar left).
